Stay well
In light of the current events surrounding the Coronavirus 19 pandemic, Touchstone Heating & Air would like to let our customers know that we are adhering to the practices recommended by the CDC when we visit our customers to serve them. These include:
A strict policy for team members to stay home if they exhibit any symptoms or a fever, or if they have been in contact with an individual with symptoms.
All technicians will wash their hands at every opportunity using proper hand-washing techniques, and utilize hand sanitizer when soap and clean water are not available.
Technicians will use disinfectant wipes on any surfaces that must be touched, including door handles, tools, and home surfaces
We have implemented a no-contact rule, and our technicians will refrain from shaking customer’s hands.
Technicians are to remain at least 6’ away from anyone inside the home.
All team members will use a fresh pair of shoe covers and protective gloves inside of each home, and change as needed.
Team members will lay down clean drop cloths to further protect all work areas.
If you’ve scheduled service with us already, or are thinking of doing so, rest assured in knowing that the technician coming to your residence is coming prepared not just to do the job, but to do so in the safest manner possible.
There is much to consider regarding the COVID-19 virus (Coronavirus) and its possible transmission in your home. While there are various and effective indoor air quality measures available to help protect your safety, including duct sanitization, ultraviolet (UV) germicidal light treatment, and HEPA air filters, they alone cannot protect from all forms of COVID-19 transmission. It is important to follow all official guidelines for preventing the spread of this virus.
